XB12R Body Plastics

Does anybody have or know where I can find the white XB12R W/ red (cherry) lettering airbox cover? I know I've seen them before somewhere. I currently have an 08 Xb12Scg Cherrybomb and I'm thinking about going with white plastics.

Not sure about the red lettering but you can always order the airbox cover and remove the decals and then order. Then order the cherry bomb decals and put them on. The decals are easy to remove. I just ordered a full set of white plastics so I can give you the part number. One of the members on here hooked me up with all the part numbers. Big help and much thanks. I have a parts catalog on order as well. Ordered my parts from lakeshore hd. 21 day lead time for all plastics.

Davexb12r had that airbox on his 12r. i don't think it was offered as a stock color combo, like cgo said^^.

I think it was offered in 08 on the XB12R. I found a picture of one when i google it earlier. I pretty sure I've seen one on a showroom floor a few years ago.

I think I can do like cgo said. They have the white box and the red decals on buellparts.net. I'll probably have to go to the dealer for the white muffle and front tire cowl.

Does anybody have a copy the buell parts catalog that would have the parts #'s for these two items above?

What do you guys think? Just a rough mock-up

Here's the part number for the air box cover. Decals are probably blue though.

Im pretty sure white and red was never a stock color option. It does look like it should have been though.

There is no white and red color combo. Like there is no black and blue stock color combo. All bikes opf the like have swapped plastics. Iv been on the look out forever for someone to trade my white plastics for their black, so i can have black and blue. Dave and I, years ago were going to trade, then I got flakey due to work, and he got someone else to trade with(I assume, tho he may have just bought the while plastics)

So Ill throw this outthere, if anyone wants to trade their black 'bolt plasticcs, for my white, or just sell me an entire set of black...

If riding a buell wasnt unique enough, i want a color combo no one else has, specially as I hear there is now another white/blue 'bolt intown, if i pull upnext to him at a stop light, ill pop myself in the face

If my plastics weren't total ***** I would have traded you immediately! I had a black and amber 12S a few years ago and want something a little more rare. I just ordered a complete set of new oem white plastics. It will be amber and white. The po painted the current ones to freshen it up but he did a terrible job.

Btw that red and whit combo is gorgeous!

cgo, what source did you order the white plastics from? Where you able to get everything - front fairing, "gas tank", seat and belly pan?
