Does anybody know if there is anything at all available out there like this? I have seen several posts on this topic but nothing definitive. If you know of a place that provides something like this, could you please post a link? Thank you!

Here is a pic of mine with a Sharkskinz fairing kit.
Also has a lower half, but I have yet to install it. It takes some fitting to make them fit right. Hal's HD was the only place that I know of that you could get them, But I heard they stopped selling them years ago.

Thank you for the pic ANIMOSITY, it looks like it fits the frame better than other kits I have seen. How has it affected your engine cooling?

Good luck to you. I've been looking for a set for a couple years now. Just seen a set sale on ebay yesterday. ********* had a used set up over $300 3 days before the auction ended, bid had started at $150.

Here's the Airtech, and I think that's the only option we have left.

I stand corrected, a couple others out there.
Catalyst

Flexi-Glass

That airtech piece looks like the same piece that ANIMOSITY has on his scoot. Wish they made it with all the holes already cut. Thats a ridiculous price for a piece of plastic that isnt even complete!!! But thank you for the post!

Airtech
No headlight holes, you would have to cut them yourself.

Iv been thinking about getting this for a while;
BXB9R9~1.jpg

This race belly pan is perfect for racing and track days. Works best with race pipe. Requires modification when used with stock muffler: either you cut the back out and loose oil containment or you do some fiberglass work and stretch the belly pan a few inches. The front of the belly pan has been relieved so it doesn't get hit by the tire under hard braking like the other belly pans we've seen. Drill a few holes and you are ready to race!

I dont wanna drop the dough, but I really wanna buy a full set and have them painted black, have a full fairing Black and Blue 'Bolt.... would be so sick

FYI, if you get the BXB9R1SB2 from above, you can't use the BXB9R9 above. It's either one or the other. So if you get the full fairing two pieces, SB2 and SB1, that's it. The BXB9R9 is to just be able to race using your stock upper.

IDK if you were confused or not, just saying

Covering an engine that relies on air for cooling doesn't make much sense IMO.

And have you ever seen how big the oil cooler is / was?

And a lot of the engine parts were made of magnesium which tolerate heat differently

yes, it's about a 10 row

true, magnesium does indeed dissipate heat faster than aluminium. The XBRR was also ran nearly flat out all the time.

Look at the airbox cover and oil cooler. I agree with goduc my bike gets hot enough with all of it exposed cant imagine what its like on a street only bike not one that is constantly moving on a track.

The ram air scoops to the airbox are what I was talking about, the filter was different in that bike and I'm pretty sure there was cooling along with that.

actually, the airbox and tubes are strictly for ram air intake and sealed from the engine.

The XBRR style airbox cover is basically zero loss on an 1125R. Drag racer Mike lost 1HP on the dyno by taking it off on back to back dyno pulls.

This is on his drag bike (stock engine) run without a filter, and a modified 1125 base plate to get it sealed up for ram air down the track.

We have a few XBRR carbon fiber airbox covers in stock, but can order more if the interest is there.

A baseplate to make this a fabrication free process is on the list of drag racing "kits" to complete, but at the moment all hands are on deck working on the RS.

Hit me up on [email protected] for more detail.
