Xb12r replaced ecm started once???Help!!!!

So I wrecked the front end of my bike thought my issue was ecm because it was smashed and not reading anything on buelltooth.. replaced it bike started once ran choppy but not get it to start again to save my life...... any ideas?? 2008 xb12r

Did you synch the Throttle Position Sensor unit to the new ECM? Few simple steps to perform same on 2008 XB's without the need for any diagnostics port plug-in drama.

DO THIS:

Perform at room temp or operating temp. Makes no difference.

The TPS reset "zeroing" procedure should be done if the TPS assembly or the ECM is replaced. To reset the TPS:


1- Set the Run/Stop switch to the Run position.
2- Turn the ignition key to the On position. DO NOT START ENGINE!
3- rotate the throttle grip from closed throttle position to
wide-open throttle position and back to closed position 3 times holding the throttle
grip against each stop for 1 full second.
4-Turn key off...wait 1 second....turn key on. NOW start engine if you like or simply turn off key.
