First is wow...torque is fun! I am used to an inline 600cc and this beast is a complete 180. Taking off from a stop is cake-work, and so are wheelies:D without even meaning to. I love being able to ride twisty roads here in NC and just stay in one gear. This thing is heavier than the CBR but it is amazing in the turns, I actually feel more relaxed tipping the Buell in than the CBR, and twisting out is hella fun.

I did realize this thing needs a bigger Speedometer, I kept catching myself speeding severely. Guess I am used to a screaming 600 and the slow thumping will take time to adjust. Seating position and seat are way more comfy, 100 miles today was like sitting on my recliner, going to definitely do some longer runs this summer-maybe the Blue Ridge.

Thats all I can think off at the moment but this huge smile lets me know I did the right thing switching seats!

One thing, the Jardine can sounds nice but it is a bit too loud, might have to change it up. Anybody use the Jardine QRT or whatever that baffle is called or recommend an exhaust slightly louder than stock?

Drummer or Special ops are good mufflers. The Jardine pipes need to be repacked offer and the rivets seem to fall apart on people.

Congrats on the bike! And yes I have a baffle for a Jardine rt-1, baffles it somewhat. Usually ride without tho

If u want in between stock and Jardine possibly...Hawk, gutted, or tweaked stock pipe. Others will be able to help better. Congrats again!

Yup, there's definitely nothing else out there that offers the unique experience of the XB!
For comparisons' sake, My Drummer exhaust measures 96dB.
