XB12Ss ECMSpy Error

Hey everyone,
I'm new to the forum so bare with me, as this might be under the wrong thread. I recently bought an '06 XB12Ss. I BELIEVE I've installed the drivers correctly because I can pull up the ECMSpy for Mono interface; however, when I try to connect, it keeps giving me an error message when I try to select an ECM type. Any help would be helpful!

I apologize for another post, but I have also gone through the activation process and I might be waiting on in to be approved (through the UKBEG Emma Radford Memorial fundraiser process). After it is approved, it all might work. Does this sound right to anyone else who has installed this program?
