hey guys,

recently brought a new seat for the xb9 (2004) and turns out the seat only fits a xb12ss

Can i get a xb12ss subframe and fit it on the xb9??

IMO, without the extended swingarm of the SS, that's not going to look very good.

I know it's different strokes for different folks... But you might just want to buy a new seat and save the money... But if you want to do the "Ss" tail on a standard xb you have a couple of options....

First it does not just bolt up.... You will have to do one of these three things.
1) do a hack job and bolt the top part of the rear subframe and redrill the bottom holes... And yes it looks ugly...
2) you can weld on the bottom frame tabs and then drill and recap the frame
3) you can mill a off set spacer. I think there are a few write up on the board.

And yes I have done it before..
