My 03 xb9 is at 21k miles, is there any sort inspections or maintenance I should be looking into doing? I bought it at 20k, I've done plugs & wires, crank & primary oil, and corrected a poorly done breather mod, among other things. Belt is fairly new too, anything else to look for?

clean air filter, if you have a K&N installed or replace the stock one, primary chain tension checked? any sign of fork seals leaking? proper tire pressures, wheel bearings: any rust or signs of corrosion? check visible hardware are tight, check exhaust straps are tight, oil lines for any leaks from oil cooler to pump to swing arm? rear cylinder base gasket: signs of leakage? rocker cover: signs of leakage around perimeter or bolt heads? to name a few other things to consider

^^^^^ what robin said and i'd also throw in there a change to dot-4 on the front and rear brake systems. they are incredibly easy to drain, swab out, refill and pressure bleed. use dot-4 if you can find it....NOT dot-5.
if you want directions to do this nice maintenance procedure that is often overlooked will walk you thru it.
i would also replace the wheel bearings and closely examine both F&R hub spacers next time you replace your tires. money well spent.

Thanks guys.

Also, i have a random squeal at cruising, im guessing its the belt tensioner. Is this common?
