xb9 performance headers

Stepping up from stock xb9 headers at 1.5" to the 1.75" primaries will allow some gains, but tuning is pretty much required. I don't have dyno sheets for every possible mod or combination of them, just my personal results. There's a couple of guys that have shown xb9's making 84-87 hp on stock motors with just the muffler, mine is at 83 or so but it's extremely rich right now.

This is my current setup.

This is what it's making at the wheel as of last year.

Dean, how much would that setup you have pictured (headers and can) cost in black ceramic? Also, will the bends fit the 2008+ cam cover and right side scoop?

I really need to start budgeting for this and ZTL2 for the off-season.

Headers are $500, muffler is $635, ceramic on both is $250, shipped. It should fit any year xb, both 9 and 12. The larger size headers do not fit the RSS, but the ones in that pic above do, scoop is on the bike in that pic.

This one below however, does not fit. I have a little bit of work left to do on them (spring hooks) and it will be ready to ship to the new owner. The polishing was extra, so these were almost $600. I would not recommend these for an xb9.
