i have a compression gauge and it possibly has quite a bit of motor work dont see how that could hurt, does not have a intake leak checked that, im just getting ecmspy ready and reading up on how to use this usb bluetooth thing beyond that all i have done is uninstalled poorly installed lights and removed extra wiring and fixed the electrical issues as i said.

If you decide to sell it, let me know. I will buy it. I was under the impression you bought it for much more than that, based on what the seller told me.

I would check fuel pressure next.

Also, post a picture of the throttle body, there is a good chance it is from an xb12.

no he told me you offered him 1650, and that you were 4 hours away, i was only 45 minutes away, and that he would sell it to me for 1500, after looking at the bike and seeing the electrical wich i knew i could fix i talked him down to 1.3... and i mean im not against anything, i had some extra funds to take on a project and ive only owned 2 previous motorcycles and i really liked this one, so i figured it would be fun to have for my first summer in AZ

there is also an ecm upgrade for this... apparently the current ecm is no longer sold , harley price quoted 400 over the phone for the change... but from what i can tell the ecm i have works fine...

Yes.... Your ecm is fine unless you have a code for a bad ecm.... Besides, didn't you say you got 2 spare ecms with it? The stock ecms are programmable.

I didn't think about that, the ecm has no bad ecm code I may look into programming the stock one later, for now I am learning how to use this Bluetooth set-up, no idle changes when I spray carb cleaner around the tb but that's all I'm sure of for now couldn't work on it yesterday.

But wiring is almost back to stock and I'm not blowin fuses anymore, fires up every time.

So I'm testing everything with ecmdroid and I hear the fuel pump, and I hear 3 ticking noises when I run the front and rear injector test, 1 would it tell me of something is wrong bc it just closes after the test, 2 is that an indication they are ok? And did this test pressure or just functionality?

Man for a know nothing amature this place was a bit brutal... HOWEVER turns out im actually a tard, it is the gasket to the intake... i was spraying the rear induction only, sprayed the front and i can literally keep the bike running and sounding like a champ with the bottle of carb cleaner lmao... then upon firther inspection you can clearly see dryrot and parts of the seal coming apart... beyond that the bike has NO front or rear blinkers aand after some exhaust wrap she will look sexy as ever... this place was actually helpful thank you guys
