So basically it is what the title says. Hope I'm in the right thread here. It's a 2005 Buell xb9sx lightning. The top shifting pawl arm keeps getting flipped out of position. When that happens I cant shift the bike out of gear. What's even weird is the spring that is latched on it is still in tact!!!! I have opened the primary case up several times to spin it back around so I can shift into gears. The problem keeps occurring and is getting very old very fast. Can someone please explain to me why this is happening? Their is a little metal pin sticking out that is suppose to limit the shifting pawl to how far it rotates. I'm guessing its some how jumping that pin?
