With the Ss swing arm the bike is lowered due to the lower mount being located further back, the front has Scg forks that I slipped to 1" sticking out of the top triple tree.

nice finish so far extreme... dont know about how low it is though. more show than go. love the colour make up though. looking forward to the finished result.

it's looking good, I'm anxious to see it with the plastics painted!

a word of caution (I'd hate for you to have this happen to you, and I didn't say anything): slipping the forks and removing that little clip that keeps the forks in place is a bad idea. If the triples are tightened to factory specs, they will not be tight enough to hold the fork tubes- come down hard off a wheelie or hit a good pothole and you're screwed. The only other option is to over tighten the triples...which mean they are over tightened :p

I've seen both scenarios happen- forks slide up (actually only 1 side slid...prob even worse.he went down.), and fork tubes deformed from over tightening.

As far as slipping the forks I do over tighten them but by no means am I crushing the fork. I am only use a 4" Allen wrench and that is it. Slipped my last set of R forks and put a couple thousand miles on them and didn't have them slip at all not even 1mm and that was even with hardstops, pot holes, wheelies, and crashing the bike.

Also note the height of the bike won't stay this low. I love how it looks but it is very impractical, like I mentioned the only reason I am setting it up so low is for the drag strip. After I get a couple runs in it will be back up to the Scg height.

Just got my belated birthday gift! Also my buddy said he was going to finally be able to get started on the paint for my bike :D

Fair enough, like I said...I just would hate to see something tragic happen to you and your ride and I didn't say anything.

...plus now I can say i told you so ;) juuust kidding.

Thats SWEEET!.. are you going to put any rubber edge trim on the light hole, brandon? I've seen chips develop on thin edges like that.. (just thinking out loud:)) Lookin' good man!

Yeah I am planning on using some black rubber door trim to avoid the chipping.

Also looking into a clear belt buckle guard
