My current lift is based off the trojan horse brackets just to give everyone an idea how agressive mine are. These DM spacers would be good for someone short , or someone who wants a small lift.

Hey Evil, are you going to mention the passive look to them? I'd really like them super aggro, plus I'm over 6'..

are you going to mention the passive look to them?

Seriously? I was hoping for the seat height to only be slightly raised for rider and an aggressive tilt in the back I guess I'll be disappointed

The more agressive the tilt, the higher the seat will be. There is no way around that man.

I am going to mention it to them dude [up]

Yeah I know just a wish.. but I just checked and it looks like the united postal snail has rescheduled my delivery to tomorrow so I will not get to use this rainy day for something useful after all

Oh if someone gets theirs in today post up some pics if I don't like the angle I will post mine for sale for exactly what I paid I'll cover shipping

these were $40.53 after shipping so if I don't like the pics installed and you do $40 and they are shipped to you

I just got mine... and as Evil said the tap job is kinda scarin' me a bit. Appears that some of the material caved in or didn't fill during the casting process. The surface is also a little on the rough side and could use a little smoothing prior to paint. I'm gonna do a quick install when I get home and will be sure to post up. [up]

Haven't got mine yet. Is the thread issue something you think you could just chase through with a fresh tap?

Yeah as far as the void in the casting I think it is just a spot that hold air during the curing process, probably could be fixed by tilting the mold a little.

My biggest issue was the threads being very thin as the castes hole that they tapped was to big. Also the hole that the stock bolt goes through to mount the spacer to the frame is in the complete wrong spot, both sets I ordered have the hole
about 1/4" to high so I had to mill the holes out.

I will post pics tonight after work, I have mine all polished up and redrilled for proper fitment. I will also post side by sides of what I had to do since I have two sets.

I love the look as well as the change in seat position... yes some fitment issues... but for the price I'm geeked.[up]

Did you have any issues with the inner hole for mounting the spacer to the frame?

oh yeah man.. the hole was off by a mile.... hit it with a Dremel because I'm too impatient to wait to get to work tomorrow and use a mill. so yeah I'm sure it was the same as yours

K, I noted on the site all the issues I had. I was also amazed at how rough the cast was, we have cast parts here at my shop and they are still smooth not a dang 60 grit piece of sand paper.

nice meetch, looks sweet.

If anyone isn't happy with them, lemme know, I missed the boat and want to jump on.

As for the void in the tapped hole... I plan on using a drop of loctite and slightly snugging it up.. I'm sure tightening it too much will cause a break for sure.

And for the seat... It fits decent without bending and locks in no problem... but for the perfect fit I will be slightly bending it. You can feel a little bit of pressure at the tail of the seat.

oh and thanks rory
