Yep, its a broken system though. It's ok if your new and dont know anybody to use it to gauge someones standing, but stick around long enough and you will see who the true go to guys are. Hell, I think you can even give yourself a positive rep. Dont get to caught up one it. Just hang out and share your passion for Buell and you will be fine. Also if you care aboot rep then stay out of the political stuff.

Beware of 40000000 rep points too lol, the system has a flaw, if the rep points go negative (as in less then zero) it defaults to 41299079687609 or something like that. So if they have a ridiculous amount of rep points showing, keep in mind THEY ARE NEGATIVE lol.

the best of all is, those who add/remove points do not have the slightest clue, otherwise they would reply to those posts themself. so just tell what everybody "knows" already (buell +08 run lean, lean burns hotter, ecmspy doesn't work with +08, xopti is a knowing tuner) and you will earn reputation although every statement is wrong.

Like Nitto mentioned just stick around and you will see who the most dependable people are.
I have been around a long time and know all the basics for the Buell xb models but my greatest attribute would have to be the ability to direct you to the right link/person who knows the answers. I bought my bike totaled with no knowledge about Buells, and 20k miles later my bike runs great! All thank to this forum and just asking questions and taking in the info.
I have taken my bike completely apart and have played with many exhausts and after market accessories.

would take more than a mans life to fight all that bs some "experts" are spreading here. prefer to ride my bike instead. if you die dumb - not my problem, your problem. you could have decided to know, instead you preferred to believe. because it's so easy to do. learning means effort. learning means to fight your own half knowlede. learning means to fight assumptions, especially if they seem sooo fitting. they're mostly wrong then. learning means to check a contrary opinion. but i see, you gave in already. stopped thinking, started parrotting. well then. your decision. most amazingly you are using a tool made by folks who acted completely contrarily.

if they would, this server would not distribute pirated copies of ecmspy. did anyone ask for permission? i bet my life, no one did.
people like you, taking but never giving back, were the end of a free ecmspy. gunter will never admit that, but i spoke to ralf, the programmer of the first version: in 2009 all developers left the team, deeply frustrated about others earning money with their work. this is the reason ecmspy requires a donation now and comes locked to one pc. this is the reason, efforts had to be taken to protect the software instead of extending it's functionality. direct result of braindead behaviour. you can earn as much reputation here, an artificial world, as you like, for me, in real life, you already lost all credibility. another direct result of braindead behaviour. call me troll. ban me. i don't care, because you didn't care.
