Hopefully Barker calls and i meet up with him for my packing.

yes it is the upgrade vr I bought i need to get the bike the rest the way togther and then do it.
Either tonigh or tomorrow i will have info for you all

So whats the deal with the valve adjust? Were you having problems or is it a mileage related maintenance procedure?

Milage related road 10,000 and the rotax uses followers and lash caps. i think the book actully calls for 13,000 but i wanted to do when i couldn't ride.(ps the follower locks are pictured wrong in the 09 manual for the intake)
All 4 intakes where tight and it would been easier if i had a full selection of shims.I honed mine since i couldn't get any with in a week

Hey RT what track do you ride at and do they have training days?
Gingerman and Gratten here in michigan.
Ride test and tunes wensday nights at Gingerman and Sport bike track time @ Gratten.

Gingerman is a free for all no training no rider couches but usally only a few of us 3-8 riders.
Gratten is orgnized Track day groups novice, advance ,expert. a whole day and some schooling in the novice group.I am going to ride novice fast group 1-2 my first full track day.

Front fairing ,pod covers,mirrors,grips installed.
Bike fired and is charging.
Tomorrow i am going to try and match up a connector at napa for the VR

RT is the new regulator the roadstercycle one you where talking about in your other thread? Did you send the stator out to be redone too? These 2 mods I am very interested in!

Yes I got the stator from road cycle. I want to do it one step at a time.
I will do the regulator today.
I bought it with just the connector ends using the recall harness for stator connector.
After I get that done I will do a step by step pulling the stator.
Then send it to custom rewind.

I haven't had a chance to get it in yet and it's 30 degrees so no real test for another week.
I think I have everything to do it tonight.
Solider is a must on the connection.
I will get some photos as I do it. After I get it fired and it charges I am pulling the stator.
If it shows any signs of over heat I am sending it for a rewind
