nice ass:D:D:D the front fairing is freaking awesome, that should have been the next generation XB9/12R front end, maybe EBR has something in the works along those lines...

sometime down the road, I'd like to marry the larger fuel capacity frame to my '03 XB9SL, the 3.7 fuel capacity just ain't cutting it:eek:

It turned out how I envisioned. Beautiful IMO.

I honestly stopped keeping tabs on the bill after I blew my budget awhile back. It's north of 17K now. That's EXLUDING all the manhours: thats parts alone. It ain't cheap to get everything you want in one bike but it's sure worth it when you end up with a one off bike that covers all bases, looks good, sounds good, and nobody know's what it is.:D
 
JOEL9: yep that one took me 4yrs and the better part of $26K It runs on e85 (the first turbo bike to ever do that, I did all the wiring, electronics, and tuning with some assistance from a good friend). It also has an alcohol injection system which is what the tanks in the rear hold. Top speed: 260mph and power wheelies at 170mph+:D I have a build thread on that on R1forum.

That's insane. Almost twice as much as brand new one in 2010... I was thinking of fat tire conversion but I think I'll stuck with my 180... Don't have pockets as deep lol.

How's the front brake works for you now with twin rotors? Stoppies all day long!!! Lol.

I believe he is correct at speed and under braking that is going to touch the fender.
 
Thanks guys. Actually no; the front tire/fender does not make contact at any point in the suspension cycle, even when fully compressed. This setup would only work with an SCG suspension as there is less travel in the scg forks. I mounted the fairing as low as possible w/o chance of contact.
 
i just don't think the buells are the right bike for that, just overkill, looks ok, just purely cosmetic, takes away from its cornering ability, just not my cup of tea i guess
 
looks great. im not crazy on the front fairing but it was done well. the highway pegs are interesting, you should put up a couple pics of how you mounted them.

it needs a tail chop and a turbo.
 
Thanks The highway pegs transform this bike from an hour and a half max mount to an all day rider with no discomfort. I've done a few all day trips already with my wife riding passenger. I put my feet forward on the pegs and she puts hers on my rider pegs and we're both set.

As mentioned previously, the tail chop and custom lighting is coming in january. It has to be hand made and delivered before I can work my magic.

No turbo in the works. This is the worst engine design to do a turbo build and will absolutely zap the lifespan out of this engine in an instant. That's what the R1 is for :D
 
That's my rendition of the ultimate RX7. It's taken 4+yrs now and is finally near completion. It's all my personal design and the whole rebody was done by hand mostly in sheet metal-no "kit" here. Nearing $200K now and should be finished by March when the dyno reads 2000rwhp:D Full on street car [cool]

you sir...... are amazing... i can turn wrenches like the best of them but..when it comes to making you own parts.i mean u made that rx7 look amazing. it almost looks like a viper...

do you have a body shop some where? or is this just a hobby for you?
 
Thanks for the props guys. Design/fabrication/builds are my passion. I've learned everything I know on my own time and effort. My field of work is not in the automotive/mechanic arena -actually very far from it. I can't take credit for all the handywork: I know/have learned my limits and when to hand things over to the experts to achieve the desired outcome.
