    They are stainless 8mm metric because this is what I had laying around.As for the length I just cut what I had in half and that turned out OK.Im going to fit wing nuts to them when I get chance for ease of removal.

    Dont pay the silly money that is asked for the tail riser spacers.I made some out of steel plate I had laying around, not sure what I am going to fill the gap with yet. Thinking of bending some ally sheet or getting a mate to make some fibreglass ones. Any ideas?

    I think Buell did a recall for this problem. Although yours would now be out of warranty I have heard reports of Dealers doing this as a goodwill gesture. Even if they will not they should be able to sell you a new upgraded pin.

    Why did you fit the ally ring? I just did this mod and fitted it straight to the top of my K&N. It fits nice and snug with no movement and I think it looks OK.     There are some great roads over here but you have to keep away from the main roads as they are riddled with Gatsos.My riding group have just had a trip into Scotland by way of the "back roads", nice and twisty the way a Buell likes it.
