i just picked up a trouble code access tool. anyone know how to use this thing? i plugged it in the ADL connector, turned the key on and the engine light flashes very rapidly. kinda like ......._........_........_ etc.

the spark plug wire was touching the wire harness. not much clearance. it happens due to vibration. i just made sure the plug wires were away from anything that could rub thru.

i had the same problem. front cyl. was cutting in and out. i found the the front coil wire chaffed thru against the wiring harness next to it. the spark plug wire was so bad that you could see the braided loom in the wire. i changed the wires and plugs with HD parts and ran good for a...

why ignition switch? any particular reason? i think i'm having the same problem.

start with the basics. check the battery. maybe weak. put a trickle charger on it or replace with a new one.

just noticed the header pipes glowing slightly red? of course it's only visible at night. is this normal? i checked cylinder and head temps with a laser temp gauge and the front cyl. temp is much higher than the rear. any inputs? thanks

well, i ended up picking up a 06 XB12s vlancia orange. great condition and pretty much a great deal! i would have preferred a SCG model but not much was available. can't wait to take her out. thanks agian
