    check engine

    I had that problem and found that the wire to the exhaust valve had rubbed on the battery terminal and was shorting. Everytime it touched, it turned on my check engine light.

    07 xb12s. Let me know if you want to get out sometime. Adventure Harley in Dover works on Buells. One of their service techs owns like 10 Buells I guess. May be worth a try.
