NEW XB FUEL PUMP REBUILD KITS ready to ship!

Hey Lunatic, interesting kit. I’ve been selling a rebuild kit similar for a few years now. And It looks like you are using fuel hose as seals for the filter. This also looks only to be partial kit, only for 05-09 XBs.

Front Muffler Strap Fastener Broken - 2008 XB12R

There is a special jims tool for drilling out broken stud, chances are the bushings cause the strap and stud to snap. If they cant "extract" the stud the cheapest route is the jims tool and a tap to drill it out. DO NOT LET THEM USE AN EXTRACTOR BIT!!!!

Front Muffler Strap Fastener Broken - 2008 XB12R

Lunatic, Im ashamed of you on this one. You forgot to ask why it broke. The straps dont just break, they snap due to excessive vibrations between the exhaust and engine. The front exhaust mount also has aluminium bushings, that are a wear item. The older these bikes get the more Im seeing this...

Hard start after sitting for several hours.

I really hate diagnostic threads that never have a solution posted. Anyways we refreshed whole top end, honed cylinders, rings, cleaned the heads and pistons of carbon, new seals, and set the valves and guides up all Purdy. In the middle of heat cycling for ring seTing but so far it has a very...

Hard start after sitting for several hours.

Updating Greenmachines post. We finally got it into the shop, a few tests we determined it was leaking valve seals, tear down confirmed both intake valve seals heavily leaking.

Guys, really need some help here.

Never seen them leak from there but I suspect your fuel vent to the right of the fill is clogged. Fuel evaporates with heat in the frame and will leak. The idle cable, they all wear. It should be loosely zip tied to the front sub frame, never seen them really work themselves loose.
