    2005 XB12Scg with upgrades

Sold! Sad to be leaving the community (and bikes altogether for the time being), but I referred the new owner here so hopefully you will get a new face. Maybe by the time I get another bike Erik will have made a comeback.

    2005 XB12Scg with upgrades

I forgot to mention, sometimes I don't get notifications on here from PMs so the best way to reach me would be by text, my number is (505)252-0800, and my name is Matt.

    2005 XB12Scg with upgrades

Potentially selling my XB, I have my eye on something else and if I sell quick enough I'm getting it, otherwise I'll keep the XB. I'm lazy so I'll copy-paste from my craigslist ad: Selling my XB12Scg, I don't ride it much now with a baby. 23002 miles on it currently. The Scg was the factory...

    TunerPro Bluetooth help

Yep, that's what I was doing. I can connect to the emulation, but not to the logging side, even after releasing emulation. I'll try to take a quick video tomorrow.

    TunerPro Bluetooth help

I have bluetooth working (with a Buelltooth) and can connect/download to the computer, but have been unable to connect to datalog. I read the guide where it mentions possibly having to change some values in the ADX command, but if I change them (they are both 107 on my BUEIB) at all, the...

That's the one, thanks so much AZ!

    XDF Lite File

I'll check them out in a bit AZ, thanks. I had thought it would be called BUEIB_V5_Lite.xdf based on the thread I found here but who knows.

    XDF Lite File

I am getting back into tuning my 05 12Scg after a long time. I used ECMSpy before but am looking at Tunerpro this time around. I read through the guide and have been able to connect via bluetooth (though not log yet). I found the full ADX file at buelltooth.com but am looking for the Lite ADX...

2003 XB9S goes under the knife, advice welcome

I used Cometic base gaskets. The HD ones were a huge PITA to get off, they were some sort of cardboard material that got baked onto the jugs. The Cometic are also available in different thicknesses so you can change squish, as Chickenstripn said.

    Rear cylinder rocker box gasket

You might want to have some elbows just in case as well. When I did my rocker cover gaskets one elbow was broken (I knew about that one) and the other one was cracked.

    Ordered a Dean Adams pipe...

I have the 1.88" headers with a Drummer muffler. I also have open airbox and slightly higher compression ratio (thinner head and base gaskets). I didn't really notice any low end loss, but didn't get it tuned in completely before I changed my mind on something (waiting until I finish that...

    WTB: XB12 Header

I have one that has been repaired. Cracked and a scuff but all welded back up now. Ugly but works. $20 + shipping and it's yours, but shipping would be interesting.

    Buell XB vs FZ-07

I know it is an older bike, but I came here from an FZ6. Powerwise it was about the same as the Buell, but way less low end. It had some serious pogo-ing going on though, I fixed it by swapping in R6 forks. It was very lacking in character though. Even with the suspension swap, headlight...

    Anyone tuning at altitude?

I've only used mine on cars too, but AFV would be sort of similar to LTFT. As long as you get it to stay around 100 you should be good. Out of curiosity, are you talking about the Flagstaff area? Beautiful place, I always try to go through there on my way west.

    Buell you have failed me

+1 to what was said above. Check the other grounding points while you are at it too, not just the terminal ends. I had slightly loose starter mounting bolts causing me trouble when I first got my xb.

Have voltage but fuel pump doesn't run?

Are you checking voltage at the pump connector on the outside of the frame or at the pump itself? There were problems with the wires chafing on the pump assembly itself (inside the frame). I caught mine when it stopped priming with the key on, though it still ran fine. Dropped the pump and...

Cometic top end gasket kit for 2008 XB12

Just out of curiosity, what was the difference between the base gaskets in 04-06 and 07-10? I used the Cometic gaskets on my rebuild too, haven't had any problems. The OEM base gasket was a huge pain getting off.

Right leg heat with a twist

I'm going in for a dyno tune in a week or two, I'll post up afterwards. They are some bad-ass headers, Dean does great work.
