    I went today and I'm glad I did. It felt lighter than my XB9S. It rolled easier, pushing it backwards was easy. But in the end, I prefer my XB. It only had 5.2 miles on it (#32) so I took it easy. Maybe a few times I got to 7k, but just for a second. I know that's where the power starts...

    Oil cooler lines

    I replaced the lines and I seem to have some seepage both where the oil cooler lines connect to the pump and the case. It looks like it is coming out around the threads, but it may be leaking on the fitting in the center of the nut also. I looked at the pdf for replacing the oil cooler lines...

    I'm replacing my oil cooler lines and I'm not sure if I should use Teflon tape on the threads if not. There has always seemed to be a small leak at the cooler, I've replaced it lately and with this oil change I decided to replace the lines finally. Thanks.

    xb9sl forks on a xb9sx????

    I think I have the opposite setup. I have an 03 XB9S that has the yellow spring in the back and what appears to be non-SL front suspension. Should I expect different kind of behavior? May be interested in swapping front ends if it benefits the handling of both our bikes! :)
