Just seeing if anyone is looking into swapping out their lower parts for a regular sized bike. I'm in northern Ohio but would be willing to pay for shipping both ways. Also would be open to buying the parts if anyone knows of any for sale.
Thanks!!

Hi jessvw21
I guess you have already checked the usual sources like ebay etc.
You must buy the forks and the tripple tree because of the diameter of the forks. If you like you can also go for the 1125 front end. They have been selling the whole stock recently, there should be plenty of them around. Again, you need the complete front end with tipple tree.

Excuse me, I'm not often here and I didn't see your question. The 1125 front end fits perfect and works perfect with the XB. In fact I combined the original Triple Tree from the 2005 Citycross with the new forks.
If you do so you need to mill the left leg 1.5 mm because the 1125 triple tree is wider than the Triple tree from the XB. You can find an exact everything about it on badweatherbikers.

I've changed the fork because one was leaking and i was told that the problem was not the sealing but the leg that was spoilt. The original skid tube (is this the right expression?) from HD was more expensive than buying a complete pair in the US. I tried to get a tripple tree with it, because the Mechanic of my trust had told me about the difference. When I didn't get it I had to solve the problem and luckily found the lead.

Pre-2005 XB9 do have a fork with smaller diameter and you need the triple tree!
