06 xb12r key/ignition short? Stator?

I just replaced the VR which was fried, and I'm getting a battery drain still. With the key on, I've pulled all the fuses, all are ok, except the key/ignition lights up my testing light. After I let my bike warm up, I rev my engine to 4k the dashboard lights brighten, and stay bright. I don't blow any fuses, and Harley said my stator is ok. I checked the voltage at 4k rpm, and it's telling me 12.6. I checked the stator, the manual says it's okay if it's at 0, mine shows numbers going down, then shows -0.

I'm having to pull my battery, and charge it every couple of days. Really stinks because it's my every day driver.

if you have a volt-meter handy set it to DC amps and disconnect negative battery terminal. i use the negative as it is safer than using the positive terminal. take the positive lead and connect to battery cable and other lead and connect to negative terminal. you should see 0 if no parasitic draw on battery. ignition must be in off position. if you see a reading on your volt meter remove fuses one by one until you see 0 reading. that should show you which circuit is the culprit and is placing the draw on your battery.

not Sure if these bikes are the same as cars at all but pull the negative cable and let it sit for a minute or so because with cars the ECM can still be processing information and will show a draw, so you want to wait for the ECM to calm before testing.

Ok. I did that. I pulled every fuse. I'm getting a .08 draw still. Does this mean I have a ground problem?

8-hundredths of an amp would be normal ecm or atmospheric parasitic loss. i would check all your ground connections at front steering neck area. believe there's 3 important ones there.
