07 induction module to 06 XB12s

my throttle shaft broke and i picked up a 07 complete throttle assembly.
the tps are different part numbers and the shaft pin positions are in different positions.
everything bolts on easy but the bike won't idle. starts and runs but pops and surges.
i guess i would have to do a tps reset? can this work?

Definitely do a TPS reset and go from there.

got the software and downloaded the drivers. it works!!!
i was able to reset the TPS.
