1125cr or firebolt

Hey im looking into buying a buell within the next few months and i have a devate over the cafe racer looking bike and the firebolt. I like the way the 1125cr looks and sits and the extra hp, but i dont think it would be a good bike for a my daily one hour comute on highway. ( I live on a island so unfornatly i have to cross a lot of brigdges 2). On the other hand the firebolt looks nice and sporty, sits good, has a better wind resitance, but has a litle less power. So can you guys tell me if my asoumtins are right? i just figured it try here since you guys are the expert on these bikes. Thanks

The firebolt will have plenty of power, but I bet the 1125cr would be more comfortable on an hour ride. I don't think you would be leaning over as much on the 1125.

the CR is a little more of an upright ride so it would be stereotypicaly better for commuting. That being said i commute my XB12R 70 miles a day(mostly freeway) and i fare just fine.

the 1125cr with standard clubman handlebar isn't all that comfortable as many would think.
you can always change to the option listed streetbar...

the torque on the xb's is more fun than the 1125's...but you will indeed have more top-end on the 1125's.

i say, test them both!

Man i got to say confort wise their both the same, i just think the firebolt looks nicer. Hey just out of curiosity how do you guys get to test this bikes? i asked the buell i went to and they said they dont do demo rides for buell (I have yet to ride one).

My Harley\Buell dealer has at least 2 demo rides/year. I'm going to do some test rides in about a month.

If you're crossing bridges, I'm guessing its windy. It is nice to have a fairing on the firebolt. But the gearing on the CR is made for commuting. Test ride them both and get the one that calls your name.
