I bought a new DSLR camera for a Christmas present to myself last year (Canon Rebel T4i). I put my point and shoot aside and forgot all about some pics I had on it. I got onto the card the other day and found the pics, edited them a little and, here they are.

These are from 3 November 2012. I rode with 1badtitan and we stopped at the Glenwood, Iowa cemetery and snapped some pics before meeting up with some of his friends to ride. I can't remember if it was this ride or another time, but the we swapped bikes for a bit. I've always liked and wanted an 1125 obviously, but after riding his I REALLY want one now! Problem is I don't want to get rid of my 'bolt or my RR to get one, the fiance wants to start riding so we have to get her a bike, and I want get a new EBR bike sometime in the not so distant future. I need to hit the PowerBall this weekend! :p

Anyways enjoy the pics.

Couple of my bike that I didn't like the end result. I was trying to take the opposite pic of how I shot his bike with the tombstone in the back and put them together. They are SOOC. The shots of his bike this way looked much better.

And a two of my favorites, and best IMO, from the set.

The new T4i is definitely going to get a workout this riding season!! :D

I'm sorry(NOT) but the Buell looks much better than the RR, and I used to ride JAPs sport bikes ..........

I'm not a big fan of the jap bikes either.. and Honda I can't stand.. but Redwhiteandbuells rr is very nice and looks great. Plenty of mods to help all that as well

Cliff Notes if you don't want to read it all:
**titan's bike is Gorgeous and a great bike to ride!
**Always been a Yamaha/Honda guy growing up (before I knew Buell)
**Yamahas feel boxy and aerodynamically challenged from the saddle to me.
**Not a big fan of Suzuki, Kawasaki has always intrigued me (especially as of late) but probably will never own, never knew much about Triumph at the time.
**Love both my RR and XBR (Honda feels more like the clean cut, can take her home to mom wifey type that is always a reliable ride. Buell feels more like the rough around the edges slutty mistress your mom doesn't want to see you mixed up with, but always rocks your world) I have the best of both worlds! [cool]
**Can appreciate everyone's opinion
**I have a laundry list of bikes I'd own if I had the money, both import and Buell
**Can't wait for the EBR bikes!
:p

titan's CR is BEAUTIFUL! I haven't seen it with the new paint in person, but I saw his old Lightning with the same paint and know that it looks so good on these bikes. Riding it was even better! They are definitely beautiful machines!

I can find some sort beauty in pretty well all the different brands of sport bikes. Always loved Yamaha's R6 and R1 models, until I sat on them and it felt like I was sitting on a big aerodynamically challenged box. They just feel and look really boxy and big. They hide it well when looking at the bike, but get on it and it just looks boxy up front. Just saw an article about Yamaha's triple motor they are likely going to move to an they even said their I4 motors are really wide. They cover them with body work and It just looks like a box up front.

The GSXRs are probably my least favorite of the Jap bikes. I've never been a big fan of anything Suzuki has made. I remember when I had my Yamaha YFZ450 ATV back in like 2006 and Suzuki came out with their 450. I went and looked at it because it was supposed to be the most race ready out of the box ATV and it just looked cheaply made to me. Loved my YFZ450 when I had it! Anyways on the bike end the bikes don't necessarily feel cheap to me, but they kind of remind me of the Yamaha's. They hide their bulkiness well looking at the bike but they feel and look like a box when I sat on them. It was definitely a light bike but it just didn't feel right when I sat on it.

Kawasaki was the Honda's closest competitor when I bought this bike. 2009 was when they changed their 600 up and it was killing everything in its class. I sat on it and it felt good. Felt nice and lean and svelte like the Honda when I sat on it. In 2008 the CBR was top of its class, I loved the Graffiti paint scheme, I sat on it and it just felt right. The Kawasaki had me intrigued but I've always been more of a Yamaha and Honda guy and the Honda just kept jumping out to me.

I didn't know anything about Triumph, except that they existed, when I bought the RR. I'd love to have a 675R now. I think they are BEAUTIFUL bikes, but after I bought my 'Bolt, and have learned everything about Buell over the last few years since I bought that bike, I'll tell you I'm much more of Buell fan than an import fan! The more I learn about Buell and the more anxious I get for his new bikes, riding titan's XB12S when he had it and his CR, and tearing my bike down last night with wolfo68 to install my Micron exhaust makes me appreciate and love Buells more and more!

I love owning both the RR and XBR though! They are such different bikes! The RR is so refined. All controls and buttons are butter smooth. It feels like you are cruising on a Cadillac, it handles well, and the sound from the Akra pipe is music to my ears. The 'Bolt on the other hand is the complete opposite. Its not so refined. Its wide in the midsection so your legs are spread a lot wider so it isn't quite as comfortable, but it isn't uncomfortable. The controls and buttons don't function quite as smoothly. They feel just as good as the Honda, but they just feel a little more clunky. Everyone knows the Buell's make all sorts of interesting sounds when it is running. The Honda just purs. The Buell just feels much more rough around the edges. But that is why I love both of them so much. They are complete opposites! It feels like I have wife with the Honda. Something clean and nice and that you wouldn't worry at all taking home to meet the family. And she's always a reliable fun ride! And the Buell is more like the mistress. A hot piece of ass on the side. She's the bad girl your mom doesn't want to see you mixed up with. Rough around the edges, tatted up, always more exhilarating to be around. And she's always down to get crazy and is one wild ride! If you get where I'm going.

Anyways sorry for the long post. I can appreciate everyone's opinion though. I understand why some people aren't into the Jap bikes. The same I can understand how some people really don't care for the looks of Buells. I love them all though. If I had the money I'd have an R1, R6, ZX6R 636, Ninja 300, 1000RR, 675R, 1125CR, Lightning, Blast, S1000RR, and maybe even a Duc. Meh on the Gixxers. Can't wait for the EBRs! I love them all in one way or another! :D
