2008 1125R shut off and wont start

Went to ride this morning, fired her up in the garage to warm up, hopped on and while turning around the bike just shut off, restarted her and she ran for a second then turned off again. Gauge cluster looks to have no power, but lights working fine. Any thoughts?

how is the connections on the battery? terminals tight and free of debri?

Tight, and headlights still wor king, had to leave before I could check fuses. Im thinking either popped fuse or loose connector somewhere but not sure where to start looking.

first thing to check is the igntion switch these break quite often.
one wire under the cover will be loose.
thats after you check fuses

Any special tool required to take the ignition apart?

tamper proof torx bit dont no the size.
