All better now. Got the fairing placed where it should be.

That would be fine for somebody else but not my taste. Too "geeky" up that high. Also, the lines of the bike do not flow well with that placement.

In that location it would have to be trimmed down more on the sides as it would not allow you to turn the bars much before the fairing would contact the frame.

I'll be completing the tail mods and doing the necessary welding to add the second ZTL2 caliper in the next few weeks.

That's cool. I just wanted to see how it looked up high. I'm better at PhotoShop than I am at any real motorcycle mods.

That rear tire looks better every time I look at the photo. Really nice work.

Some custom tail mods and adding the second caliper are the only other mods I'm planning on for now.

The custom tail lighting finally arrived. Time to tear the rear end apart and mod it out. Should be very slick-and one of a kind I'll update with pics soon.

Ok. Just finished the tail piece and tail light/blinker mods. Here's a thoroughly reworked tail light housing after sheetmetal work, welding and grinding.

Here it is after sanding, primer, wetsanding, and semigloss black to match the factory seat rails. Also the custom light bar is installed.

Here's the new piece mounted on the bike...nice and clean. Should have come this way from the factory IMO.

The bar also functions as turn signals. Only the right half blinks for right turns and vice versa. I was not able to get a timed shot of the blinker at work.

I'm waiting on my TX plate and will be relocating it to the swinarm/axle with custom led lighting.
