dying to see the front caliper!!!!

I've been trying to mock it up in the same orientation as the factory caliper (on the backside of the fork). But due to the bracket angle needed and the damper adjustment on the fork end, it's looking like I'll have to mount the caliper on the front side of the fork. It would definitely be unconventional but will still look cool and different. I'm scared just thinking of how well that brake setup is going to work.

Damn you really put some time/cash into these projects. I can't imagine the stopping power with two ZTL2 calipers... my 6-piston caliper stops well enough. 16 pistons up front is batshit SCARY.

Very VERY cool.
Dare i say it... the 1125R should have looked more like this IMHO.
Cheers.

Awesome build!! I think I may have to stop by here more often! Such cool projects!!

I love your tail section mod. The integration of the led tail light is perfect!

Keep up the great work!!!

A few new pics from today. It was 54 deg out today so I got her out, shined her up, took a few pics, and went for a 60 mile ride. The showymoto cover and custom tail are new since last outdoor shoot.

Where is the tail from? Or did you make it?

Bike looks sick turbo! Love that rear sprocket as well!

Go back another page or two and you'll see how I made the tail piece. Thx bro

waiting on the caliper pictures!

Lol, I knew you'd chime in at any time now. That's the final stage of the build aside from retuning the ecm.

I've been putting all my time into my car recently. I installed an aftermarket ECU, complete wire harness, nitrous, and have been soldering wires and tuning on my laptop for days.

For the bike I need to order a small block of billet alum to fab a base support to weld to the fork leg. Then I can weld the modified factory caliper bracket on. I know exactly what needs to be done, just haven't quite gotten around to it. It'll happen soon...;)

No tensionner for the chain ? How do you adjust the tension of the chain ?

I've always run my chains this way. I test fit the chain then cut it 1/2 link shorter than it should be. Once I rivet the chain together, I walk it onto the front sprocket. As it wears in, it will then loosen about 1 link in length and will fit perfectly and be easily servicable.

Heheh...i just noticed the front foot plates.
How cruisy.
Very cool indeed. [up]
