anyway you could give some more in depth possible measurments on your swing arm conversion? I mean if you don't mind and if not I totally understand just really like the look I was excited at the thought of a 200 rear tire but a 280 wow!...I could definatly live with that!!! awesome build man!
 
Thx guys. I don't remember specific measurements off hand. I cut and spaced the drive side of the swingarm out 1" and just heavily modified the left side as you can see in the pics. Had the wheel widened to 10.5" via kosman specialties in CA. Definitely a straigh forward swap with factory arm..which is why nobody had done it yet..and why I wanted to. [cool]

Its Steven, I met you outside that Kum&Go in MO. It was awesome seeing that thing in person. pictures really make it look different than it does in person. It looks so fat and mean. everything goes together really well, pictures make it look kinda tame, lol

I have mixed feelings on what you did, but I won't get into all of that. I think it does look pretty good and you have a lot of very custom work and good fabrication skills (or who ever did it) Looks cool, but I think the bars should be lower with that fairing as well, clip ons would probably compliment it better but that negates your comfortable riding position. Good job though. I really like the tail light, gave me some ideas there. [up]

Steven, not sure what you mean. I have posted pretty much everything and have just been enjoying riding the bike lately. Nothing new really.

I've decided to add the second ZTL2 caliper and larger master cylinder as a winter project as I talked to the welding shop about it and the only way to do it right will require disassembly of the left fork for the bracket to be welded to the leg and I'm not down for that during riding season.
 
Your tail light is awesome, can you make more and sell them with a plug n' play type connection. Just wondering. Very nice.

Thanks. Actually yes I got a few vid clips and am having a buddy of mine edit them into a short vid. I'll check and see how it's coming along.

Thanks, as I've told others; I just don't have the spare time to fab these. Takes alot of time and precision.
 
I thought the regular Lightning was sexy, but looking at your bike, its like meeting her older even more sexy sister....LOL Dam Hot & Beautiful.
