Downhill hairpin. I know exactly how it felt, that moment when you realise your speed is already a little high and the bend is getting tighter. I was lucky, I didn't crash, but I made the rookie mistake of using a little brake. That stood the bike up which was the opposite of what was needed. It's easy to say now, but I should have just looked where I wanted to go and flung more weight off the bike. I'm sure the bike would have made it. Like I say I was lucky, ran right across the other lane, nothing coming, onto the marbles in the kerb and slithered to a stop. Rode home like a learner after that! Hope you recover quickly, and thank your lucky stars it was not any worse.
