Hey Guys, I have a 2007 Lighting with the Buell sticker that is the "puffy" kind of vinal, its not the flat decal kind.
I used a heat gun and some adhesive remover (safe for plastics) and all the goo is gone, but now i have a ghosted image of "Buell" on the box. I would have expected after leaving the stickers on for 6 months that the "Buell" part would have been a darker black because the sun has always been hitting the un-covered parts. Instead, the "faded/lighter" part is the word "Buell" from where the sticker was anyone run into this issue?
I went out and purchased another cover from the local dealership and tried the same thing brand new and with some WD-40 as the removed, and I still get the same result, what the hell am I doing wrong? (the box is solid black)
