idk about all those R1's we will prob get our ass kicked lol

they're actually really nice people. went last year and it was a blast. we're getting some cabins right by the mississippi somewhere near the iowa/wi border.
they may have us in over-all speed but we own those corners man. but its pretty laid back. i dunno, just throwin it out there. yeah jobe, if you wanna meet up in sept i'm down. keep in touch. I dont know how aggressive you ride but I tend to follow their forum rules as far as using common riding sense like not showing off and such. hope i'm not jacking your thread.

also i'm not trying to sound like I think you ride like that, just sayin.

Well I got a couple decals myself today so I am wondering what I am going to do with them??? I know the helmet will get one but not sure about placement on the bike[smirk]

I ride safe. I have been down before. Not fun. Plus I don't want to re-build my bike again. LOL! Spent enuff $$$. Mostly I enjoy riding alone but I do go on group rides from time to time.

Showing off is for youngsters. I am 31. Not old but not young at the same time.

dig that you went all McGyver with the speaker grill Jobe

Thanks man. I am polish so I call that engineerski!

+1 on the Delta One decal

Thanks for that. He was and still is a good man and his spirit will live on in all of us that knew him.

Went for my long memorial ride today. Got the shifting problem mostly fixed. Bike runs good. Rode from South Milwaukee to Fon du lac and back. A little chilly on the way home at excessive speeds to say the least. Put on 200 miles. Bike runs great. The extra vents gave me +1hp :D Godspeed feller's

Went for my long memorial ride today.

Awesome [up], today would have been one of the best day in a long time to ride, but even here in MI riding to the funeral wouldn't happen since Sara and I had to go other places before and after the funeral and I am not all about 30* temps and who knows how cold wind chills. One BadWeb/XB member BuellBoy I think he said his name was rode his XB to the ceremony but you could tell he was freezing even with cold weather gear.

Weather permitting we will be going to the burial tomorrow on Sara's bike I just have to throw on the pass pegs and its all set. But since the burial is so early I doubt the temp will break out of the 20's and wind chills in the single digits, so I dont know if that will happen[smirk]

^^^ are you putting on the shiny rotors?

It was 50 out today at noon. On my ride home it was 35.

Got a mirror tinted visor for my helmet today. Love it. Rock stars hate the sun. LOL.

^^^ are you putting on the shiny rotors?

No I am installing the EBR rotors on mine, I am having all new parts put on it right now.

The rotors you polished will go on BuellChick's bike once I talk her into buy new rotors and I will mount the polished one up for the test rides and let her ride my bike. I would hate if something dumb would happen to her because of me. Hell even when I swap out her levers I ride it for at least 10mi before I ok it to her.

Yeah...the thought of my girl on a bike is scary. We were throwing the idea around. Getting her a sweet moped to start out with. [cool]

dude thats what I told my girl. start with the moped and work your way up to a firebolt. c'mon now. she's not having it though. I wish she wanted to get her own but I cant force her. She does like going for rides on the back at least so thats cool I guess.

It's Hawk Performance. Different company. I went for another ride today by Lake Michigan. Here's a couple outdoor pics. Finally! Cabin fever was making me put l.e.d.s. in some strange places! Lol!

well jobe i think the bike looks good man.and from what i can tell the fab work is not bad at all.i do have a question though the black headlight pieces how in the hell do you get those out without breaking them.and were did you get the spikes for your sheild.bad ass

[up] for a nicely done custom home-made bike ;) Looks good in its own way! Even though there's a lot going on, but as i always say: to each their own!

Spike's on e-bay

I broke one plastic insert. The other one came out perfectly with luck and a blowdryer. I didn't even reuse them. If you look close you can see.

Even though there's a lot going on,

I think you are right. I am not finished yet. Doing something different with the paint and matter decal.
