Hey folks. I haven't formally introduced myself but have been hanging around for the last 4-6 weeks since picking up a smokin deal on a 2007 Firebolt. Not to one-up anyone else's "deal of a lifetime" thread but I have to say that I am pretty proud of the deal I landed. It was just a good ol Craigslist deal but I'm a firm believer in pushing for extra good deals during the winter months. Here's what I got:

2007 XB12R
Miles: 1,040 - That's right! It was practically brand new.
Condition: Just like it rolled off the showroom floor. Tires still had nipples. Headers weren't even discolored yet.
Price: $3,800

I've been pretty busy "personalizing" it over the past few weeks and this forum has been great. I picked up a nice Corbin seat, a Drummer SS, and a race ECM, so I'll have to post up some "after" pictures soon.

Welcome to the site and congrats! Looks like you got a great deal.

If you ever make it up north around Sherman, give me a shout. I'm always up for a ride if I can sneak away from the wife and kids. :D There's a few good roads to ride around here.

Yeah, when I can get out (I've also got the wife and kids to contend with) I often head up your way. The Old Ida Road (FM697) is the best road around when they're not doing construction on it.

Yep, one of my favorite roads to ride.
