My cyclone had 55xxx miles before I sold it and bought me an xb which only has 4,200 some miles on it . That will change quite quickly

Put 10K on my 1125R from October last year to January while on an island. Total is 14K bought last June with 3,400mi on it.

That is pure shenanigans. It should be mandated to ride a buell you must ride at least twice or more a month

I think you may have missed the operative word, "don't".

Agreed, but I think it should be increased to at least 500mi in a month. Penalty for not complying is you have to give it to me. Then, after placing the delinquent amount of miles on it, I donate it to a gixxer forum for zoolander-like entertainment.

Victim: "Dude, where is the gas tank?"
Me: It is in the frame.
Later that day to another gixxer: "The guy said that the gas tank was IN the frame."
Other gixxer: "What are we going to do?"

I'll spare you the details of my imagination. I promise I enjoyed that narrative though.

I just crossed 27,000 this month. I got it in October 2011 with 13,000. A good mix of commuting, canyons and track days. I'd probably be at 40,000 if the damn thing was more reliable.

Getting ready to do an 1800 mile loop from VA to RI to western PA and back home. My first solo adventure ride and I'm psyched!

lol my point was that seeing as I only ride about 12 days a year I put a decent amount of miles on the bike. Not nearly what a lot of you do though.
