Not sure where you are, but here in Georgia 26mph over the posted speed is considered a felony. If your gonna whack that throttle open, you have to be as smart about it as you can. If you have a favorite area where you go to play, cruise it a time or two and look for cops. Straights are where everybody opens it up, so forget that. They sit at the bottom of hills, so hit it going up, and chop it before you get to the top. If you run, and get caught, or crash, your riding days are pretty much over, Even if you live. Plus you add to the statistics that cause the insurance nazis to freak out and lobby against bikes, especially sportbikes. Don't know if your a member of the AMA, but if not you should be. ALL of you who read this should be. You have NO IDEA the things insurance companies try to pull. And once rights disappear good luck getting them back. Remember last time? Took a migration, a tea party, and a war.
