My rant for the day is that I absolutely hate when I am talking to someone and they finish my sentences while I am talking. I don't mean when I can't think of a word, but when they say the same thing im saying as I say it. Drives me batty.


About two years ago I had my bike connected to ecmspy, and tunerpro. Since then I've reinstalled windows and can't get my bike to connect no matter what. I even bought a new cable and nothing.

Speaking of tunerpro... why is it so hard for someone to write a tutorial? Not for the program, but for setting it up. I waded through dozens of threads and hundreds of posts on three different boards to figure out how to make it connect, and even then I still don't know where to put all the different files. At this point id rather take it to someone and have them do the work for me.

Xopti wrote a manual on setup on how to get started. Been a while since I looked at it. The problem you're having is pretty common. He explains how to go into your settings and rename USB ports and tell ecmspy how to pick them up.

Cb sounds like a driver issue. I know my main computer won't connect since I had. to switch back to vista. I have a little netbook that I use for all my bike work. It has xp

I have vista and had to download those drivers. Then it worked. Had to rename those USB ports also, or adjust them or something along those lines so ecmspy would find them.

Thanks I'll look for that. I know he has a video that he refers people to, but he's already connected to the bike so it does nothing for me. I'm using either tunerpro or ecmspy for mono, whichever works.

sled - I trained my manager, she's been here for a year and a half, I do the major workload and I get paid about half what she does.
The reasoning for not firing her so far has been

a) we need to give her motivation to design and work on a project.

b) she's a single mother I can't fire her, it'd look bad.

and on top of that I can't get further training in anything she's trained in because my boss fears that she'll push all of her work onto me.

When I was test driving for my first car, the first one I took off the lot died after a bout a mile after leaving the dealership. we walked back and told them they could go get it, they offered us 5,000 off anything less than 12,000. Despite a great deal, my parents wouldn't sign a loan on anything from that dealership.

My family bought a car from the Ford dealership about 20 minutes away from our house. On the way home the car performed flawlessly however the minute we pulled into the driveway we smelt smoke. 5 minutes later the entire car was ablaze and my mother was on the phone with the bank cancelling that check and my dad was calling the dealership telling them to come get their charred piece of ****. Turns out the almost new car had oil spilled on the engine bad enough by one of the techs during their final inpection that by the time we got home it caught fire. How's that for a story?

My rant of the day?

We just finished a big solar job here in Kona and started on an even bigger project. So the owner of the company decided to send us 4 guys from Maui who have some downtime right now to lend us a hand. Now the project is gonna be done in half the time. Everyone on our crew is pissed about it cuz' the next big job we're aware of is still uncertain. Our boss is a prick.

Well I got anOther one for everyone

So I'm traveling east on I-40 about 40 miles west of Memphis minding my own trying to stay in my lane. As usual I'm getting passed by a fedex truck hauling doubles on my left. It takes him a minutes to pass me. I turn my light off then back on to signal that he was clear then I check my left mirror and see a car coming. I flashed him over again. He turns his blinker on and no sooner then he does that this DAMN mini van flys passed me flips his blinker on cuts over about takes my bumper off and flys up next to the fedex driver who's in the process of making a lane change. The mini van goes halfway onto tge shoulder and slams on the brakes right in front of me.

Now I'm grossed out on my weight. I'm so heavy I can't even fill my tanks up all the way. I got 47000lbs of lumber on my trailer. With 150 gallons of fuel which is right at 3/4 tanks my truck weighs 79980lbs.

Anyway back to the story this mini van slams the brakes on I have milliseconds to react I change lanes as fast as possible the left side trailer tires come off the ground I jerk back to the right to stabilize it and stay on the road the mini van flys pass my right side. As he goes past my right side I notice the DVD play in the back is on and it sponge bob. Tge dude has his kids in the back seat.

If I didn't react like I did I would've killed a family. All because the idiot didn't want to wait 15 seconds for the fedex driver to change lanes.

Moral ofthe e story just slow down people is being in that big of a hurry worth risking your life. Or other peoples lifes.

Time for my Ford Rant. In late 2009 I ordered an F-150 Raptor, It took 5 months to get it. I thought I had the best of the best. With in a week my XM antenna would leak every time it rained. So they fixed it, about 6 months later my fender flares started to peel all four of them, so had to replace those. All under warranty, but come on, when I spend over 40 g's I expect to get a quality product. The last straw was at the 15,000 mile mark I started to get a horrible suspension squeak. Ford kept saying nothing is wrong. It took it to multiple ford dealerships, same thing. It got to the point it annoyed the **** out of me so. I traded the piece of **** in and went back to Dodge, they have never treated me bad. Thats my rant!
