Twin turbo - straight line car with some cornering capability. Gt3rs - normally aspirated, and throttle response exactly when you need it, built for corners. Fast? Hell yes but, would get murdered by the twin turbo in a drag race.
Whatever! A TT is not meant to be a strait line car, no Porsche is. And a GT3 and GT2 would kill them in any category.

anrkizm, any idea what road the Goldwing is on?
It reminds me of route 1 from Leggett, Ca down to the coast.

Well every few months there will be a faster bike on the market.
But why?
A new yamaha does almost 90mph in first gear(of 6).
Before it reaches its maximum power band, it means loosing your license in first gear.
And who can handle this power without ABS, traction control etc.
They even give you different power maps. So you can show off without too big of a risk.

No, I stick with my bike. It is what a bike should be like. An extension of my P...S.

I like to visit bike meetings here in Spain. And I have seen many bikes faster than mine. With brighter colours etc. But in the next meeting someone else shows up with a new record breaker.

You know the comments on terraces, gas stations etc. What is that bike? Waoow.
Is it a 600? Yes, both cylinders.

Our Buell just is what it is. A rare kind of breed. And that is why it is so unique.
These bikes are chosen for a reason. Because they represent what we are.

OK, I will stop now, just let out the dog and think now it is time for my Bu(e)ll...

have yet to find a "crotch rocket, rice burning, every Tom, Dick and Harry has one, wannabe racing bikes" that can hang in the twisties with a BUELL:D

Better rider = faster bike.

That is it.
While that may b true when it comes to most sport bikes its a whole lot less true when my paps is trying to keep up with me in the twisties on his Heritage Softail. Not that he doesnt give it the old college try and it is funny to watch is footboards scrape the ground

I could give two ***** if the guy in the Wawa parking lot with the gixxer 600 wants to "race" or thinks he's "faster" or "better" than me

Can't fix stupid.

All bikes are fun in their own way, and I wear my helmet like a hat every now and then, easier to hold the beer...

And yes 1125's are faster, but I don't have to adjust my valves...

Being "slower" has very little to do with the bike itself and it mostly comes down to rider skill. Now if your talking about being "slower" on a track or road with no curves then a Buell is not for you if faster is what you are looking for.

Owning and loving what you ride is so much more than just speed. To me its looks , breaking, cornering and pure grunt. I don't want a whiney plastic covered high reving throw away just like everbody elses bike.

I love to tell the story of when I would do track days @ Firebird Raceway in Phoenix. I was on my XB9R and some schumk with a brand new Busa thought he was the ****. On the straights he was king but a lot of us dove in and smoked him on all the twisties. Now this is not the cool part of the story, a great rider with a CBR 600 would kill everyone out there including the Busa. The best thing was he would switch to his 250 dirt bike with full knobbies in between sessions and still kill all of us, including the Busa. His skills were a thing of beauty. A sight to behold.

after reading all comments i think mr buell not coming out with a bike that has 150 at the wheel was a huge mistake just look at the other v-twins duc, ktm, and the rc8r is preety cheap 170+at the rear wheel.Iwant that out of my 125r but im not going to spend 6,000+to do that and any pipe ecm combo is great but all the pipes are way 2 LOUD....NOW WE HAVE THE 1190 FOR 40K ITS JUST NOT RIGHT.JUST THINK YOU GUYS ARE COMPARING A 600 VS 1125 THINK ABOUT THAT ITS JUST WRONG
