.NOW WE HAVE THE 1190 FOR 40K ITS JUST NOT RIGHT.

Obviously you seem to forget that the 1190 is an EBR not BUELL so he does not have the funding or assembly line like he did with Harley, he only made 100 1190's they are ALL almost 100% hand made, I know the engines are hand made and put together. The 40k price tag is because well, there are only 100 being made, EBR is a private SMALL company, and ya, lol, lets not compare apples to oranges.

before the buell xb12scg, i had a suzuki b-king. it is such a fast motorcycle compare to the buell. however, the buell is just more fun for me.

well how bout this i bounce at a bar had my xb9r (sexy as hell) sittin out front. guy lets his friend ride his R1 he basically went from parking lot to pavement. what good is a 190 hp if you cant handle it. so much for all that aerodynamic plastic too!!!
still offered to run home after closing time, grab my ramps and truck. ohhh best part the group ask me if 45 vegas bombs are too much for a group a i said idk , guess they answered it themselves.

It all depends on the nut that twists the throttle. I tend to ride every bike I've ever owned to its maximum capabilities. I've borrowed some very nice R1's and GSXR 1Ks that spank the XB in the motor department. Riding those bikes to their thresh-hold on the street is as much scary as it is fun. Think I'm gonna get a GSXR for the track and keep the XB for the streets.

HERES A TRUE STORY THAT JUST HAPPEN TODAY, MY FRIEND HAS A 2004 R1 AN MY OTHER FRIEND HAS A 2007 GSXR 600 TODAY THERE WAS A ENOUGH TRAFFIC WE WHEN DOWN TOWN TO CHICAGO WE WHERE RACING DOWN THE HWY CROSSING TRAFFIC I WAS KEEPING UP WITH THEM JUST FINE AN IT SEAM TO ME THAT THEY WHERE GOING SLOW BECAUSE OF ME BUT THEN I TOOK THE LEAD, AN I DONT HAVE REAR VIEW MIRRORS AT THE MOMENT SO I WASN'T ABLE TO SEE THEM BEHIND ME, SO I PUSH IT AS COMFORTABLE AS I COULD GO. I SERIOUSLY LEFT THEM SO FAR BEHIND, THE POINT HERE IS THAT THE BUELL HAS SO MUCH HANDLING AN IT PICKS UP REALLY FAST ALL THE WAY UP TO 135 MPH IF YOU DONT NEED TO GO MORE THAN THAT CANT WAIT TO TAKE IT TO THE TRACK

Ok now thats outta the way, your story was stupid. Youre an idiot, only slightly stupider than your friends. In no way shape or form does what you describe the capabilities of your bike/Buell or anything else on the road. My advice is sell your Buell buy a 'Busa kill yourself on a private road with it.

There must be something wrong with your Buells because mine has no problem running down I-4 sportbikes, chewing them up, and spitting them out. I even turn my head around just to see them getting smaller. Just thought I'd throw this in the mix

oh and for the record, I bought and drive my buell knowing full well what it is, and what it can do. And I am extremely happy with it.

I'm always happy with my Buell's speed until I actually go ride a fast bike.

For example a really good friend has a zx14, and we switched bikes last weekend for a ride, it's stupid how fast that Kawasaki was!!!!!

I never had a 600cc bike pull away from my XB12 on the street. That's enough for me.

By the time a 600cc bike can spin up to 14k and hit its max power band, I have already pulled out 10 bike lengths, hit 100 mph and let off.

The majority of liter bike owners are riding something that is WAY out of their league and will never be able to hit even %50 of what the bike is capable of.

Guys who talk about "my bike is faster" need to STFU, because it boils doing to a pissing contest and nothing more.

I went out on a short ride this weekend with my father in law and his sv1000 and yes my bike is much slower lol. I'm on a xb9r. We took off and he went substantially faster than I, and even the big bagger harley with two passengers inched ahead of me(a guy we just happened to be next to). I still love my bike lol.
