They Blend it through the loading arm. There are different lanes you can load on in the terminal and each lane allows you to pull a certain product depending on what loading number you enter. There has been cases where the loading arm was not adding a blend into the truck and the terminal operators will get a message from the system in their office if it's not blending correctly. We have had to use their blend chart and add the blend seperately with a Chevron Rep watching us to make sure we were blending it correctly.

Correct. When the fuel comes through the pipeline it's in raw form and then it's refined at the terminal to meet the spec of product it was intended for.

wish i could say that was true....loaded tank trucks for monsanto chemical a few years back where we had many storage tanks with different products..i understand the process ...same gas different additives at loading station then off to the gas stations..additives are already in the empty tanker they just add gas to it.......but all good points but the important thing is to believe in something brand oil... gas..motorcycle because they all the the same thing only difference is what you believe in
