You had the same experience?

imo the xb is more forgiving than any bike i have ridden and is very easy to right any wrongs made by the rider.i have always felt more throttle will get you out of more **** than any other reaction and even more so with the xb.

to 95.. Thankyou.. I thought it was just me. Pouring on the throttle just powers you out of any trouble Ive run into so far..ok so Im not crazy. ha It didnt use to be that way with the other bikes Ive owned.. took alot longer to get confidence with them too.. this one just grows on you faster.

the duc streetfighter s is right there with my xb with a lot more power 18,000 though.:( and my oldest starts med school next year[sad]

08levin... i must be the exception...
Talk is just talk. Most people I've riden with (including myself) ride to about 50-60 percent of what their bike is capable of anyway, so comparing the specs is sort useless.

thank you..anrkizm95 someone with some sense
all the i4 are higher performance than our buells.buell is a great street bike the jap r bikes are made for the track.personally i have a better lap time on an r6 than a lightning.iv seen harleys out corner a buell it all depends on the rider.

My Buell has out preformed every other twin cylinder air cooled bike I've ridden with... I4's are for comparing to I4's. If I want a soulless Japanese four banger, I'll drive the Civic.

I have no Idea how I stack up against you guys but the XB12R feels good. So far its been very predictable, Ive been able to safely do **** that I felt unfortable doing on other bikes, maybe because it feels so much smaller, I dont know. Im only 5'6" 140lbs..my I-4s all felt too fat and top heavy I also couldnt feel what was happening with my front or rear end as well as I can with this one..maybe its just a "twin thing".. closest thing Ive ever ridden to this was my old Ninja 250 trainer, but this one has something around 105 hp..I guess its just the right "fit" for me.

dosnt really matter everyone has their limit and the closer you get to it the more fun it is wether you have been riding for 2 weeks or 20 years.

Yeah thats how I feel about it. I got Michelin Pilots on this thing right now.. is that the right tire? Im sliding it through turns under power..Im way past any chicken strips, I got rubber beading up on my side walls.. I could have sworn I drug a footpeg a few days ago.. I couldnt do that with my old bikes from the late 90s..

Now I dont know if I would be able to ride like this on one of these newer I-4s but the old ones seemed to hold me back compared to this one..anyway my tires only got a few weeks left in them..you know anything better than what Im running now?
