HAHAA, everyones just saying what they have... just download the Buell Exhaust Shootout.
http://www.americansportbike.com/

It has dyno runs, plots, audio files, spreadsheets, write-ups, etc, etc. that way you can make the decision yourself!!

plus this question depends on the size of your wallet in the first place.

that sounds bad, sounds real uneven. thats just like riding with no exhaust, just the header. plus we are talking about XB's not that old x1.

It's not as loud, but for a rough comparison you can youtube almost every buell exhaust made and do a self comparison, granted the audio quality is nothing like real life but it will give you a rough idea.

couldn't a guy just fab a y pipe and put 2 straight pipes of the same diameter under the bike and just tune accordingly? That would make most sense to sound like a sportster right?

Straight pipe equals no torque... Lose that in a Buell and you really should be laughed at.

has any on got a dB reading on the drummer ss for the 12? N/A on the asb shoot out...

True on the torque part but say someone does not care about the performance and only wants an original harley sound, this would do it. I have not seen it yet though lol. I have thought of some cool designs for straight pipes on a xb but don't know if I would want that on my bike lol

I run 2 1/2" ground pounders from sickpipes with torq cones inserted, great sound and I never have to sweep the shed floor any more :p

I thought I could see that guy on the XV 1600 laughing at me but was hard to tell as he was 60 feet behind me in my rear vision mirror :p
