Bike Lift

Since the firebolts don't have a center stand to take the weight off the rear wheel I have thought about using my small floor jack. Where is the best place to lift that wont couse any damage? Has anyone lifted their motorcycle off the muffler?

there are jacking points on the muffler designed to take the weight of the bike. Look underneath and you'll see some arrows and letters stamped into the can.
