On my trip to Lapland last summer I left the key to ign switch more than once when going for a coffee or so. Each time luckily remembered it instantly when I went inside.

I was at a stop light with my wife on the back of my blast. My bike was in neutral, I thought I shifted into first, but still was in neutral, I revved, let out the clutch, the bike finally caught and off went my wife. Bruised her tail bone, and she hasn't been on the bike since.

My kill switch is shorted out so I never use it(98 S3). Was on a trip last year about 3 hours from home with 2 other bikes (78 & 75 shovelheads)the chain gaurd fell off the 75 got stuck in the chain 45mins later the rear turn signals fell of the 78 which hit me in the side of my helmet, so we pull into a rest stop to tighten somethings up. Here the moment I kept running my mouth about this is the 5year doing this trip with my Buell and it's never missed a beat. Well my ******* shut it off with the kill switch took almost 30 mins to get it started [sad]

I have gp shift and once in awhile I'll put it in 5th at the lights haha ya your not gonna get far with that. And then when I get on my Harley I forget that it doesnt have gp shift and after accelerating in 2nd I'll put it in first haha.

When I first got my bike I left the "Parking" lights on with the bike in the back of my truck the entire way from Appleton, WI to Bismarck, ND... needless to say the battery was quite dead.

On my old 99' Night Train, I had replaced the rear brake pads. Too it for a ride around the block and hear a loud grinding/screeching. Got it back on the jack and noticed that i had gotten both pads on one side of the disc! Coming back from a ride, parking the Uly in the garage. Coming in too fast and forgot about the peice of carpet I left on the floor. Never let go of the front brake, hit the carpet and down she went. Took the front end right out from underneath me. Thankfully I didnt break anything.
