Brake Light

Hey guys,
I just got my 08 1125R little over a month ago and my brake light does not light up brighter when i hit the front brake or the rear brake. The bulb is in good condition and lights up for a riding light when bike is on, but can anyone tell me how to get to the fuse box and hopefully it will be a fuse and not a wiring problem.

Just change the bulb, it's a standard automotive 1157 bulb. I just did mine, the glass had worked loose from the metal base and shorted the brake light but not the running light.

Take bulb out put test light on socket activate brake see if test light comes on if it does you know bulb crook, if it dont then fuse or wire crook. but if you dont have test light as d adams said change bulb if still no light (well you know the drill)[cool]KIWI

A 2-pack of bulbs at most gas stations, maybe a couple of $$ at most. 2 phillips screws, change bulb, test.

thanks for the replies guys.....did those at local auto stores but same results at all the light was still on but the brake didnt light up. took the plastics off and found it was a wire that got crimped and cut on the brake relay so i ordered another wire set and plugged it in and now its working like it should.
