Yes, but the conversion is EXTREMELY difficult. I cannot have 2 people at all on bike because the entire tail section is only fastened at 3 points-the 2 bottom mounts on side rails and really a bad fasten point on top right mount of seat rail.

If you notice, the right rail is attached to shock mount and the left mount is basically 'floating'. I used a threaded rod though shock mount and attached both rails on top mounts but believe me, its not strong enough for 2 people. When I ride, I ride very hard and really 'hang'off bike more than ride it,lol. But yes, the seat is off a XB12SCG and you really 'melt' into it. Im very happy with it....

Im gonna install 1125RR tailsection so my 1125R/CR lightning tail is up for grabs. Im thinking around $750 minus the carbonfiber tail cover and taillight. it will include the 2 side rails, little stubby lightning center section, undertail battery tray, seat. Email me or PM me. [email protected]

I've just read the entire post. Being new to the ownership is a unique experience, to say the least. I love the raw power!
My cr is red. I absolutely love carbon fiber and have beginning of buying separate body work. In short you did great job. Thanks

Thanks mrpierced69, unfortunately the 2008 1125R with the RR fairings was wrecked and considered a 'total loss' by insurance company.
