I sent EB the list of signs we had; he was having to send it to one/some of the Buell employee alumni. Haven't heard back.

Just heard back from Erik today. He not only found out what the task was at each station, but who worked there! Is that cool, or WHAT?

Okay, here's the list of the function of each station. I think that out of respect for the worker's privacy, I'll PM each of you with the name of the person who worked at "your" station, rather than posting that here. If you don't get the info, let me know.

Station 2: swing arm, Header. Station 3:Throttle cables,side stand. Station 10: Dash,headlight. Station 14: Belt guard,shocks. Station 18: Front turn signals, battery and tail wiring. Station 19: Muffler. Station 20: Mufflers. Station 21: Filled radiators.

Cool, eh? Well, here's the best part, in a way. Here was how EB ended the message:

Thanks so much for contacting Erik getting all the information to the rest of the sign owners!

Ownership of my station sign is bittersweet. On one hand, I'm proud to own a piece of American history. On the other hand, I would never own that sign if Buell hadn't been shut down by HD.
