PLS COMMENT!

It gets better & better everytime you post more photos up.

Question on the open primary & dry clutch setup, can that be bought as a kit anywhere or is it a one off design?

hmm u know this seems to be inspiring me.. i as well have a 90ci buell with losts of parts on it and i thinking bout creating custom superbike tail as u did. however mine is a r. just curious but noiticed in ur run vids the battery sitting under the bike. could u not find a place to mount??? as this seems to be the thing id find hardest to design around. i mean custom shorter superbike solo tail on this

maybe more like a ducati

Wiring looks great[up]

I have to say this is one of my favorite if not favorite Buells, there are definitely a few things I would change due to such a high end build that seem out of place to me, but just personal opinions.

I would have opted for a different front caliper, rear rotor, rearsets, foot controls, hidden rear caliper, and custom headlights.

Again just personal taste bike looks amazing[cool][up]

Tyler if you look at the completed bike pics you can see the small black box that hold the battery under the bike, behind the muffler[up]

[up] one of the best buells i've ever seen.
It screams imagination.
Very VERY well done.
Hope you are able sell ortell us where to get some of those parts.
Seats, lights, mufffler...all of it, Brilliant!

Cheers,
WOLF

Hey guys.
First is thank for yourprevious comment.

I thinking about creating custom superbike tail as u did.

xtremelow is right. We could not hide the battery
nowhere because the short and lightweight tail section.
originally we have used a Buell Nano Tech Li-Fe battery, but unfortunetelly we have had to change back to the factory unit because the Li-Fe battery didn't give enough cranking power.Back to your idea about the short solo tail buiding I ca tell u, u have a much more easier job like me cause on the Firebolt almost everything of the wiring(I mean the fuse box, ECM, etc..) sitting on the front. My bike was originally a Lighning so we have had to change the complete wiring.
U can hide the battery under the tail piece but if u want to use a same tail like mine u have to relocate the place of the battery what is a hard job because the wiring.

Hello xtremelow!

Thank for your comments and kind words.

I would have opted for a different front caliper, rear rotor, rearsets, foot controls, hidden rear caliper, and custom headlights.

Actually we use on my bike a totally different, rubber mounted front perimeter disc with the 8 piston caliper. But this caliper is a hardly modified, lightweight version of the factory one.It has been revised with CNC machine because the brakes had to much unnecessary material.I checked other products but I didn't find any othre 8 piston caliper which is be able to provide same breaking power. We have used Woodcraft rearsets and clip-on because of their character(and USA made). As I mentioned before We use the factory headlights because we did want to keep the main character of the Buell XB and I didn't find any better lookingaftermarket headlights. The hidden rear break caliper is a great idea, I will apply my our new XB Firebolt project in this Winter.

thanks i didnt really even notice the battery under the bike honestly. it just kinda blended in there. i had thought about the lithium battery but im glad u told me what u did. If it didnt have enough power to crank ur motor prolly wont on mine either.and yes the wiring does seem like it would be a pain. cant wait to see ur firebolt build!!

I really like the oil cooler mount, definitely something I will be looking into. I like the symmetry and having it hang off one side is far from that.

i agree did you have to get new oil lines for that oil cooler setup? How close is the front tire to hitting it when the forks are fully compressed?

Wow I completely over looked the fact you filled in the dimple on the swing arm and smoothed out the brace too.

I seen the belt guard mounts were gone but just realized you smoothed the entire thing out[up] on the detail where it isn't even noticed.

Thanks xtremelow.
You are the first one, who noticed this change, compare with the factory swingarm. We just wanted to make the swingarm's surface more elegant and simpler.the goal was to achieve a clean surface a lot of technical details(I mean the engine, primary, etc...).
Thanks again for your attention

No.we have used the factory oil lines but shortened.
There is no chance to hit the tire because of the distance. There is one disadvantage:you can't use the lower fairing anymore unless u modify it.

such an awesome bike, have you thought about hiding the rear caliper behind the swingarm?
Thanks for your kind words.
Yes I thought but I felt like the swingarm would be too empty. In addition we didn't want to hide any parts of this bike. But it's a great idea and thanks for shared with me this.

Your bike is very special and a nice complement of form follows function design. I really dig!

Question: any chance those wheels and/or exhaust will go into production? Also, random but do you know where they got the tail lights?

God speed
