It came right up to our city Stuart, FL. Pretty impressive winds about midnight, but otherwise felt ok. We're protected here quite well with a solid treeline.
The water came just over our seawall and I'm glad I loosened the ropes on the boat, it was swinging around quite a bit! We rode it out last night with some beers and watched Twister
This morning I drove around in my truck to see if anyone needed help and other than some power out and trees down, everything looks ok. Whew!

Heard you like America. And understand and appreciate the concept of abundant torque as it applies to a sportfighter with a 1203cc Thunderstorm V-Twin engine? Good for you. So here you go:
2009 Buell xb12r Firebolt. One of the last of its kind. A modern engineering marvel and tomorrow's classic. Made in America.
Never really had the time to ride it (3699 mi!), have less time now. Dropped last fall + wife & 4 kids = reluctant seller. Minimal cosmetic damage. Just had routine service at Sound Motor Sports & attestation of excellent condition can be provided. Needs a couple small things (brakelight, turn signals, a peg or two - see pics), but you are going to modify this bike anyway, so I'm not going to bother. Includes K&N air filter (never used), Kriega US 20 dry-pack (perfect bag), mirror block off plates, battery tender, & two airbox covers (the one with badging was never used). You might want to replace the one-inch lowered pegs (only one survived), but you're going to get nicer ones for a comfortable ride (esp. if you're tall), or a standard pair for a more athletic riding position. (Also recommended for replacement are the Oberon Streetfighter bar end mirrors - so nice). Start shopping for mods now. You can have the Shoei, too.
This bike carves - short wheelbase, center-mounted exhaust, torque for days. People at the stoplight look confused when they hear your sportbike revving like a Harley. Gonna miss those people.
Do a little research. This bike is singular. Beautiful to look at, a joy to ride. It could be what you need in your life right now. This posting is for a 2008 buell xb12r firebolt... 12,890 miles, i do ride the bike daily so miles will be going up... bike is in great mechanical condition, recently had new clutch/primary installed. new intake air temp sensor, new crank position sensor. rocker gaskets done, new plugs, new battery and other work... Bike comes with warranty for another 8 months .. has buell racing ecm, jardine exhaust, hid's 5 door pulley cover ...

this is a 1998 Buell S3, with both bags. recent top end with Hammer Performance cylinders and pistons. (I didn't have anything to do that weekend so I did actually follow their entire recommended break in procedure). new drive belt, clutch cable and front brake rotor (new rear brake rotor include). original air cleaner (after market air cleaner included). recently changed fork oil and installed new fork seals. Carbon fiber rear fender (all pieces of original fiberglass rear fender included). this is the last year of the tube frame, carbureted Buell with the Thunderstorm high output engine. it is wicked fast, gets 45 mpg and should only be ridden by experienced riders. many extras, including spare saddle bags and supports, manuals and parts.
