Description & Comments

this is a 1998 Buell S3, with both bags. recent top end with Hammer Performance cylinders and pistons. (I didn't have anything to do that weekend so I did actually follow their entire recommended break in procedure). new drive belt, clutch cable and front brake rotor (new rear brake rotor include). original air cleaner (after market air cleaner included). recently changed fork oil and installed new fork seals. Carbon fiber rear fender (all pieces of original fiberglass rear fender included). this is the last year of the tube frame, carbureted Buell with the Thunderstorm high output engine. it is wicked fast, gets 45 mpg and should only be ridden by experienced riders. many extras, including spare saddle bags and supports, manuals and parts.

Does this bike belong to you?

No ,none of these belong to me , just thought they are interesting and some of them are good buys. hope you enjoy looking at them.

Hey BuellyBagger , in your ad you are selling a very nice bike, You were saying your rear rocker leaks a little, Mine is leaking just a little, just this morning I took off my air cleaner & base cover to get to the PVC grommet and this is were the oil is coming from, I siliconed a new grommet in place and decreased all, time will tell if it helped any , raining currently. can't test, time will tell. Good luck with selling your bike.

I'd be lucky if it were just the grommet/[email protected]. Mines definitely the gasket. Thanks for the luck, I'll need it :D

Hello, I'm posting a like new,(Literally) Black 2009 Buell 1125r All American Superbike. Made here in East Troy,WI. With only a little over 1,000 miles on it,a had the first initial oil change. Wow!! The bike rides even more Awesome as it looks.Big V twin Power and Torque! Has beautiful blue detailing on the shiny black. Has Massive front rotor for Unbelievable stopping power. The gas actually goes in the frame, and the oil is in the swingarm.Eric Buell is a Genius.,But it won't last long.Lots of Summer days left!! Asking,6,000 FIRM..the bike new was 12,000, all original . And it is pretty much still like New. Emails or Calls Only.won't answer texts.

Having a friend call now. He fell in love with my new 2009 XB12R after riding it only 20 miles (he said he was just going around the block). Thing is, he gave me tons of grief when I bought my S3T and laughed when I told him I bought another Buell. Until he saw it. He rarely rides on the street, but races his honda or yamaha all the time.

Well, I don't think it will work for him, not being a 50 state bike and low miles. He is checking to see if he can register it at his folks house in Colorado then transfer it to CA after 6 months. Same hassle I went through with mine.

He is not giving up yet.

Yes, that will work or ,Just put a different speedo on it that has more than 7500 miles on it to make DMV Happy , I have a few if you need one .:D
